Where are you based and do you travel?
Based in Lloydminster, right on the border of Alberta and Saskatchewan, I'm a photographer deeply rooted in the beauty of the Canadian Prairies. When I'm not capturing beautiful love stories, you'll find me exploring the majestic Rocky Mountains, spending quality time outdoors with my young family – camping, hiking, and soaking up the fresh air.
Limiting myself to only 5 destination weddings a year allows me to dedicate my full attention to each couple. This approach ensures a personalized experience and lets me truly invest in capturing the magic of your special day.
Can we see some full wedding galleries?
You bet! I am so glad you asked. Knowing how your chosen photographer captures an entire wedding day will ensure you're not disappointed with how they capture and edit reception photos, indoor photos, and more.
When you inquire with me, I will send you a full wedding gallery as well as a full engagement session gallery.
What do your travel fees include?
Within Alberta & Saskatchewan, I charge minimal travel fees beyond 100 kms of Lloydminster for a one night stay and car travel. If your wedding or elopement is not local to Lloydminster, my travel expenses include mileage or a roundtrip flight, hotel stay for at least 2 nights, and a rental car for transportation. I am happy to come up with a custom travel quote for you if your celebration includes more than these general travel plans.
What if you've never been to our venue?
If I'm new to the venue you've chosen, it is included in every package for me to do all the research and guide you in selecting the best spots for photos, sharing your private vows, wedding party portraits, etc. Additionally, I always go to the venue either before your wedding or the day of a little early to scout it in person! You will never have to wonder if I know where I'm going. I'm here to guide you so you can focus on what matters most!
How many photos will we receive?
I typically deliver around 75-90 images per hour of shooting. Every day is unique so I don't put a minimum or maximum on your photos. It truly depends on the events you incorporate, the amount of coverage, whether or not you have a second shooter, and all of the moments that take place! I always deliver the best photos and I promise not to leave any special ones out. I have always said that I know which photos are my favorites, but you may love the ones completely opposite from me and that's what matters. So I leave it up to you to decide which photos you love most!
How will I receive my photos?
I send all photos to you through an online gallery that you're welcome to share with friends and family!
How long does it take until we receive our photos?
It is of the utmost importance to me for you to have your photos back as soon as possible! I put a lot of love and care into perfecting each image and editing is never just a click-and-done kinda thing. I have a turnaround time for sessions of 4 weeks with a sneak peek within a few days from the session. For weddings and elopements, the turnaround time is 6-12 weeks depending on the season. I also send a sneak peek to you within 72 hours after your wedding so you can post to the 'gram and enjoy right away with your fam!
We feel awkward in front of a camera...
Lucky for you, I hear this all the time and it is my job to help you feel comfortable! The majority of the couples you see all over my website and social media have never taken professional photos before so you can trust that I will help bring out the best in you.
Adventurous photos on our wedding day?
If you want to make time for this - 100% YES! If you will be having a traditional wedding, I would first consider the venue you're choosing and what your guests will do during this time. There can be a break between the ceremony and reception if that's what you desire! The beauty of your wedding day is that you can do whatever your hearts desire!
If you want adventurous photos but for whatever reason we won't be able to get them on your wedding day, let's do an adventure bridal session! This can be before or after the wedding, in your same wedding attire or something different. I have many couples that opt for this because they want the adventurous vibes without sacrificing any time with their guests and the traditions they love!
Do you have a payment plan?
Yes! We can do this two ways. Payments are automatically set up in my booking schedule. I require the $500 non-refundable retainer to book your date, and beyond I typically split your payments into two additional installments. However, I am more than happy to create a customized payment plan for you if that would be helpful. Just let me know on our consultation call or by email if there's a specific timeframe that will be best for your payments.
Do you have a recommended vendors list?
Yes! After booking, I will can you vendor recommendations tailored to your vision! Based on your location, I can send vendors for videography, planners, dresses, florals, catering, hair and makeup artists, rental companies, and more. I'm always connecting with people in the industry, so I continue adding to my recommendation list daily! When your day is decked out with the best people I know, it makes for really detailed photos that add so much to your entire wedding gallery!
